Felt sorry for poochie

I felt so sorry for this little Pekinese (disguised as a lion, apparently, with mistress-matching coat to boot).  He didn't want to move and was dragged along several meters and then just stopped.  Too embarrassed, I imagine, to parade himself along Belgrade's pedestrian street, Knez Mihailova.

Unlike his mistress, who was urging him along in not so pleasant terms, oblivious to those around her, he caught my attention.  I sneaked a  hip shot of her and her unhappy companion.

I think pet owners who seemingly "love' their pets can be so ridiculous!

In their, almost, matching plaids. Another hip shot?
Hope you are well.

WHAT on Earth has she done with his tail? I have a half-pekingese and I don't remember her ever being as traumatised as this. This woman needs to have the pup taken away from her. What a disgrace to normal folks in this city.

I think the dog is a much better dresser that it's owner.

I dunno...looks like the dog wanted to pose for you and wasn't about to go anywhere 'til you got it's pic.

Missy Mistress doesn't look too pleased with the situation. Probably doesn't want to pick the dog up 'cause that might mess her shawl...

Fun shot!

Looks to me like that poor pup is recognizing someone who would take his feeling into consideration and not treat him like some silly accessory. He clearly wanted you to swoop in a take him home with you!
