A rose by any other name....

These little doughnuts without a hole are simply called 'mini-krofne' (mini doughnuts) here, but their counterparts in France are called 'pets de nonne' or nun's puffs, a euphemism for 'nun's farts'. They're so light and airy. ;)

Nun's farts! Now that's funny. I used to like these things, now I'm not too sure! :)

They look delicious!

Love the names. In the USA, they'd be called donut holes.

And in Canada they'd be timbits.

Thanks for the chuckle. (I'm playing catch-up and thinking it may soon have to be a choice between my job and my blog pals—and the scale's tipping in your favor!)

Does that mean nun's farts are light and airy?
