If you were reading the post yesterday, another photo of my recent day trip will appear. This one is from Belgrade....a lone kayaker paddles alongside a biiiiig barge that is actually a floating sports center....doesn't move around.

Strange to think of a sports centre out on the water!
Strange that a sports centre would be anchored in the water. Maybe its cheaper than having it on land. I like the contrast with the kayaker, makes him so tiny.
Just when I think I've seen everything! A floating sports center. With my luck, I go to work out and end up getting seasick! :)
No danger of a collision, then.
I watch the big barge flotillas gliding up and down the Mississippi from my office window all day long. Slow but very powerful.
I too am surprised about a floating sports center. Does that mean there is more water than land? Great contrast in size here.
