SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY--violins in the shadows

Yikes....time flies.  Seven years ago I posted about a violin maker in Kovacica whom I've visited several times since.

On a recent trip, these violins in various stages of completion, caught my eye.

See other shadows on SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY.

J'aurais bien aimé le connaître ayant un violon à réparer/ajuster... en attendant la lumière fait drôlement bien au rendu de la photo.

Beautiful photo, so full of potential. I still have my low-grade student violin I got at 11 or 12. Doesn't sound like much but a stamp beneath the f hole says it was made in Vienna in 1911.
