"YA TALKIN' TA ME?"
When I first saw this huge cat (bigger than my dog), I immediately thought of Robert De Niro's classic line from Taxi Driver.

ONLY FOR SMURFS
A family of these highly toxic mushrooms sprouted up by the curb on a neighboring street. Pretty, but possibly deadly. Only for Smurfs.

CHOCOLATE....
Seattle is known not only for its many coffee shops, notedly Starbucks (which is not my favorite) but also for its chocolate. Went out to dinner with two friends last night and we shared this sinful German Chocolste cake with caramel sauce and crispy almonds.

78....
Seattle has hills and it has many stairs, especially in my daughter's neighborhood. There are 78 stairs in this photo. At home in Belgrade I have no elevator to take me up and my 98 stairs...which I climb and descend 3 times a day 'thanks to' my dog.

MONDAY MURALS--QUEEN NATALIE OF SERBIA
A huge mural of Serbia's QUEEN NATALIE, wife of Milan I Obrenovic of Serbia, who ruled from 1882 to 1889. Queen Natalie was a celebrated beauty in her youth and was later regarded as one of those most beautiful queens in Europe.

JUST A MAN AND HIS DOG----SWINGING
Hmmm...I doubt the dog asked for this, but rather the older man is satisfying his inner child. We all do. I do constantly. 😀

TAKE-OFF
Taking off is what I will be doing next Thursday. Long stay in US, so many of my posts after that day will be from the USA.
In the meantime, here's a pigeon taking off from the top of a very tall fountain with a cracked wall behind it.

IT'S BUZZIN' AT THE PARK
Okay, honestly I didn't hear any bees buzzing, but there certainly was a lot of human swarming around the stands at the 49th Annual International Honey Fair. You need to take 'international' with a grain of salt....or sugar. As far as I could tell, the international flavor was given by several former Yugoslav republics, now countries of their own.

SHATTERED SKY
I stood gazing at this building for several minutes, trying to figure out what this arrangement of reflective pieces meant. If they are mirrors, somebody's going to have a lot of bad luck.
I prefer to call it 'shattered sky'.

Fall is here
There's a nip in the air, people are wearing jackets, and morning mist is common. No leaves changing color yet, but I am looking forward to that.

"SO ROUND, SO FIRM, SO FULLY PACKED...."
"...and easy on the draw." This was a slogan for Lucky Strike cigarettes in 1944. Today this slogan would never pass....not even close to political correctness, even though we all know it refers to a pack of cigarettes and the cigarettes themselves....I guess.
Though the slogan precedes my earliest childhood, I did hear it from time to time and couldn't help posting this photo of this girl's backside.

THEME DAY - TRANSPORTATION
The first of the month on CITY DAILY PHOTO is THEME DAY! This month it's transportation.
I live in Belgrade, Serbia, a large cosmopolitan city. Years ago I lived in Paris. In both places my preferred means of transportation was/is by SHANKS' MARE, in other words with my own feet.
I walk for the enjoyment of walking and photographing, but honestly in and around the city center, reaching one's destination is often much faster by foot.
My foot is the one in the purple sandal. The others belong to two former CDP bloggers in New York City.
