I must admit I am not a cat person. I tolerate them, but just don't want one. That said, I am intrigued by their habits. I have often noticed that, unlike dogs, cats don't like to share their bed, cushion, chair, etc. Here's an example.

FILM NOIR
My urban neighborhood is often used for filming. Above is just a passer-by, but the whole scene reminded me of something from a FILM NOIR.

Cats are a different sort of animal, and I grew up without cats, (my mother swore they were sneaky) we only had dogs, and once I had children that changed they wanted kitties too and I'm happy to have learned cats although many so oddly different, some quite self-involved and not at all like our beloved and devoted dogs forever, kitties have found a place in my heart.
I love cats.
