Yesterday's post put me in a fairy tale mood. Which fairy tale character(s) inspired this house, upstream a bit from Belgrade on the Sava River? Note how it's been built high, in case of flooding.

....but I was not driving this time. Took this from the back seat while returning from Lake Chelan, Washington. Not a very pretty bridge, nor a great shot either. I think I do better while driving....

THEME DAY-my favorite part of town

This may not really look like a part of town, but it is. Above is a long-lens shot of houseboats on the Sava River and a boat speeding to the New Belgrade side of the shore. I like this area, because although it is within a city, it seems like you're far out of town.
