Shadow Shot Sunday Students' Park sidewalk

Shadows cast by wall decorations and through grillwork in the walls surrounding Students' Park in Belgrade.

See other shadows on Shadow Shot Sunday.

You can see these wall ornaments here and the grillwork here.

Shadows are reborn
When the sun sinks they rise and
Lie cool in moonlight

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--The Military Museum Tower...twice

Recent rain left this nice puddle....and a reflection of the tower of the Military Museum.

SKYWATCH--You're being watched....

A drone!  I snapped this little guy who was filming the Belgrade Marathon the other week.  Is it my imagination, or does he have an evil little grin on his face?

See other skies on SKYWATCH.

Degas updated

The girl on this mural on the wall of a dry cleaning shop doesn't look too hot, sweaty, or tired.  A far cry from Edgar Degas' Les Repasseuses (The ironers)

Daily Haiku
Hot, sweaty, tiring
Ironing was a real chore

ABC WEDNESDAY "Q" is for "quietly"

This Illyrian Sheepdog, or Å ar Mountain Dog seems much more interested in having his photo taken than in the cat quietly padding by right in front of him.

See other Qs on Mrs. Nesbitt's ABC WEDNESDAY.

Nikola Tesla's friend

Copped a shot of this little girl, who was posing for her father nearby.  She's sitting on the lap of Nikola Tesla's statue that I showed you a couple of years ago.

No idle hands

These hands belong to some ladies who are always selling their knitted and  crocheted wares along the pedestrian street downtown.  Busy, busy.

Like our grandmas used to do
Is now a lost art

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--so many raindrops

Raindrops indeed, but the rain that falls leaves such a beautiful green.....

Do you remember this song by Dee Clark?

No haiku, just a video today!

SKYWATCH--the stork's nest

Here in Serbia storks usually make their nests in chimneys (it's good luck) or on the top of telephone poles.  This one chose a steeple on a church in the Banat region of Serbia.

See other skies and maybe a steeple and another stork on SKYWATCH.

THEME DAY--"Squares"

Last Sunday was the 27th Belgrade Marathon and I went to watch the start.  These fellows weren't running of course, but were advertising IDEA, a supermarket chain.

Today is Theme Day, so have a look at what others have chosen to post.
