Reluctantly into spring...

Yesterday morning my husband and I were driving along the main street in Zemun (see March 16, 17, and 22 posts), and I took this photo out the car window. Serbs are really careful not to catch cold. It was early, but already reasonably warm. This girl wasn't taking any chances in her boots, tights, and jacket....but her skirt was ready for spring, and I wonder what kind of ice cream she bought.

Your photo is very similar to one Kim posted on Seattle Daily Photo a couple of days ago. Perhaps hers was a Serbian immigrant in Seattle?

Is she buying an ice cream bar, or some larger quantity do you think?

I like the man disappearing out of the frame!

Yes, I know the photo is very similar, and comment to Kim about it! I think she's just going to buy a smaller bar and suck on it very slowly to warm it up before she swallow it, as to not get a sore throat...(I'm not kidding)

Kim in Seattle and Bibi in Serbia. The legs, skirt, boots and bag makes my mind work in ways it is not used to working and I don't know if that's bad or good. LOL

She does have attractive legs and the bright red bag is just like a tree trimming. You got to look at that too.

I think she had a strawberry icecream

I saw Kim's and commented also. I atually think they're quite different in style. Has to be strawberry ice cream with chocolate drops to echo the bag. A for the one leg leaving shot, classic Nick Drake,"Five leaves Left" Album, otherwise known as the running man cover.Good all round.

I bet Serbia isn't like London or Britain in general. Freezing cold in winter and totally unable to cope with the slightest flurry of snow (when it happens airports grind to a halt, trains stop on their tracks etc etc etc)... then in summer we are sweltering to death... on public transport etc etc because this nation's simply not designed for summer...

hey i love your black doggie avatar portrait picture thing... reminds me of my doglike tiny hamster Baby Itchy!

All the very best to you I hopped in here via a friend of a friend...
