Somehow, a bit short.....

I'm still not sure if this girl was wearing tights (i.e. footless stockings) or just tight pants. In either case, the blouse (and it was a blouse, not a skirt) she's wearing somehow didn't quite go...

A bit too short?

SKYWATCH--The Victor's buns...

Shameful title, I admit, but I couldn't resist. Click here, though, to see why this naked statue is in this very place, and not in the originally intended location. P.S. Want to see some California pseudo-Roman buns? Click here to see what Tash posted at Palos Verdes Daily Photo.
And...just when you thought you had it all, here's a nifty little book I recently received as a present. I carry it in my purse. You get points for each kind of cloud you see, and there are lots! The ones above The Victor seem to be some sort of cumulus clouds (15 points), but I got 30 points for these altocumulus, plus another 15 because I caught them at sunset....what fun. Get yourself a copy!

Check out (and maybe identify...) other clouds (and their skies) on SKYWATCH.

Le Rouge et le Noir

Nothing at all to do with Stendahl's novel 'The Red and the Black' other than the title. These two young women were attentively listening to an animal rights group's speaker downtown on Sunday's Europe Day celebration. Serbia is not yet a member of the European Union, but would like to be. To do so, Serbia has to meet EU requirements, and one is the humane treatment of animals. Although both of these girls appear to be wearing leather boots and perhaps a leather skirt (the speaker was ranting about not eating meat or wearing leather), one has a faux-fur purse!

And yes, I couldn't help but photograph still another redhead!

Reluctantly into spring...

Yesterday morning my husband and I were driving along the main street in Zemun (see March 16, 17, and 22 posts), and I took this photo out the car window. Serbs are really careful not to catch cold. It was early, but already reasonably warm. This girl wasn't taking any chances in her boots, tights, and jacket....but her skirt was ready for spring, and I wonder what kind of ice cream she bought.
