Staring at the Skyscrapers

I took this photograph of these people looking at Manhattan from Brooklyn because it resembled a much safer version of this photo taken in 1932 by Charles C. Ebbets.

YES! Your version does not induce acrophobia in «Louis» the way the 1932 image does!

This shot is like the view I had when I lived in an apartment in West New York, New Jersey. It faced the 72nd Street boat basin. The river and traffic was amazing and the fireworks each 4th seemed like they were right over my head.

  A beautiful urban sunset over New Belgrade. The 'smoke' from the stacks on the left is actually just steam from the heating plant....
