The Big Day...

Today is my daughter's wedding day, and since I cannot yet post a photo of the event since it hasn't taken place just yet, I'm showing you a photo of the favors we put together for guests to take home. Guests can choose between a heart or a house with a small bag of homemade ribbon candies. All were made by a well-known confectioner here, famous in particular for his Turkish Delights. I'll have to photograph some of those for you at a later date.

Would you choose a heart or a house?

Please send your daughter and her new husband the very best of wishes for a long and happy life together.

So hard to choose 'heart or house'. But, today, I would choose a heart for love.

Oh, and I would choose the house:
1. because greeen is my fave color
2. because green ornate pretty houses remind me of you
3. because I can see you in the left window of this one :-)

My choice would go for a Home "home sweet home." And tomorrow a heart to move in.
Best wishes to the newlyweds!

I would choose the heart, then a house could be transformed into a home. Enjoy the day!

Cestitam mladencima i tebi!
I am sure it was an amazing wedding.
I would pick 'kućicu u cveću'.

Tough choice, Bibi! I think I'll take a heart, though, for with no heart the house would be cold and empty.

Happy Day !!!

Oooooo beautiful! Now there is something that I miss -the beautifully decorated cookies from the Serb bakery for every slava & occasion. How wonderful they were chosen as favors for your daughter's wedding. Much joy to the new couple. And I think perhaps I would need to choose a heart, for what is a house without a heart.

I've been away for far too long. Now back and of course I had to find the wedding photo. These are gorgeous. I'd choose the house. Home is where the heart is...so you get both.
