Urbanism devouring a tree

I guess that's what this mural could be called. I'm not sure if it officially has a name, but here's how it was created:

In order to reestablish murals as artistic forms and to facilitate development of art in public places, BELEF (Belgrade Summer Festival), the Telenor Foundation, and the Platform for Contemporary Art have introduced project "Super Wall," which treats Belgraders and visitors to several murals, created by prominent Serbian and European artists, in various locations around the city. Wow, that's not subtle at all, is it? An extremely powerful and very creative statement! Love the photo, too...wonderfully composed!

This is rather frightening. I like the monster's eyes.

A very well thought out realisation.
No sneezing please!

Yea, lets at least have trees painted on our Walls.... The idea is so cynical !! Reflective of the extent of Urbanisation that we have been undergoing... Good Post... Like all your pictures on your Blog... Thanks for commenting on mine.. :-)

this is an excellent mural. so interesting. I also loved your photo of a touch of Italy in Belgrade. That was an excellent composition with great color. Your South of the border was a great find as you know I love the cactus. I posted a mare and colt on my site today to start a series on my website from my photography tour. It was quite an interesting trip to the slot canyon and Vermillion Cliffs. Also, if you like travel photos, we have posted action photos from Buenos Aires, Argentina on our travel photo site, www.vivalavoyage.com. Have a good week!

As they say this knocks my mural into cocked hat. The information you've gleaned too puts the whole scene in context. If only I could get this kind of feedback. Reminds me of Bkue Meanies and Yellow Submarines.

SPRING FASHION

This is a post that would be better in color, but maybe not. These colors were soooo pale.
