Fun and games at home.

Haven't ventured out much since I've been sick, and what to do for a photo? Can you guess what this is? You can now probably see the lemon slice below (I've been drinking a lot of lemonade...) that I jazzed up while fiddling with Photoshop filters. It could have just as easily been a photo of my window at night, since it's been raining a lot.

I hope that you're feeling better and I'm glad that you've had fun with your food. I wish that I had extra time to play with my Photoshop Elements- as soon as I start to poke around- I lose hours of my day. Take care.

Glad you identified this as a lemon because my first guess was frost, second might have been rain. In either case I could see you'd been dispelling your boredom via Photoshop -:) Fun images!

Hope you're feeling better in the very near future.

So, do you always "play" with your food?

Wow, I think you'd better get out of the house soon!

Just kidding. Very interesting and it's nice to be able to play with PS even when you're not feeling good.

That first photo reminds me of those neon light tubes...

Bibi, this is VERY cool. Glad you're on the mend, and not surprised you're still "at it" in the meantime.

Like Chuck, I'd not have known what it was other than it so pleases the eye. Get well soon.

Hopefully the vitamin C of the lemons and the pills you're popping are helping you to get better very soon.
But if this is how you spend your time: brilliant!

What a better way to fill up time and mind while being sick!
I made up a list this weekend of foods needed to boost the immune system:
Omega 3 with flax seeds/walnuts/canola oil
Zinc with beef
Proteins with fish/eggs/dairy
Fruits and vegetables
Vitamin C with oranges & grapes
Antioxydants with strawberries & tomatoes
Almonds to reduce inflammation
Decongestant with garlic to boost the immune system
Tea/coffee to fight exhaustion
and sugar to skip.
