SUNDAY BRIDGES-flat rectangular links

These flat rectangular links on one of the bridges over a now dry moat in Kalemegdan Park recall the shape of the bricks on the wall behind. I might add that this chain along both sides of the bridge is really low; perfect tripping height. Watch your step.

See more bridges or parts of them at Louis La Vache's SUNDAY BRIDGES.

P.S.Here's the whole bridge.

As a chain is only as strong as its weakest part, a thoughtful picture indeed.

Please have a good Sunday you all.

These links are so cool! What a great shot. The silvery blow is striking. Love it!

I love this abstract shot, great contrast between the silver and the brick behind.

Love the detail! In miniature—and sterling—this would make a beautiful bracelet.

rectangular chains, very artistic and unusual.

Sounds like a very handy placement. When tripping, does one go over the side?

looks like an artistic but useless safety feature!

Nice closeup of the chain, and such an unusual shape. Sure does mimic the brick.

amazing chain and I like the designs.

By the way, I followed you in google connect. Hope you do the same. Thanks!

The chain is gorgeous as is your photo.
An idea for a piece of jewlery? Although, it may be a bit to sharp for comfortable wear...sort of a hazard like the real thing. (I have a square link watch that starts to wear on my wrist after a while - not something I anticipated when I bought it.)

THE MARKET AFTER HOURS

Merchants have all packed up and gone home....
