These flat rectangular links on one of the bridges over a now dry moat in Kalemegdan Park recall the shape of the bricks on the wall behind. An idea for a piece of jewlery? Although, it may be a bit to sharp for comfortable wear...sort of a hazard like the real thing. (I have a square link watch that starts to wear on my wrist after a while - not something I anticipated when I bought it.)
