From the past....
Relics of the past. Three manual phones (yes, of course some of us still have them), and a SKJ Yugoslav Communist Party flag. (Some people still have those, too!) The only things on this photo that are present-day are the crocheted doilies, sold on Knez Mihailova street by the ladies who make them. The phones were for sale, too; not sure about the flag...

My grandmother had one like the one on the left, only hers was black—and it sat on a little table in her dining room, on top of a—yes—hand-crocheted doily. Great find, Bibi!
une partie de l'histoire, maintenant on repropose des telephones avec ce design mais modernes, comme quoi tout redevient a la mode
What a great composition to go with this eclectic collection of objects... The phones are fascinating with the rotary dials and yes, I do remember them!

Ah, the good old days. I haven't seen one of those phones for a long time. Most people around here have given up their land lines and are using only cell phones! Nice photo, Bibi!
we not long ago got a old Princess phone - remember those? - to use should there be a power outage .. the last black out we were w/o anyway to contact other family because we had no working phone!
OH I want the one on the left please. I can still remember the feel of these in your hand and the sound the rotary dial made.
