Dead serious

This young man takes his music very seriously, judging from his expression.  He wasn't bad, either.

SUNDAY BRIDGES--nightwalk

A lone walker makes his way across Branko's Bridge toward town.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--in and out of the puddle

I turned this upside down from the way I originally took it....

SKYWATCH--Setting up

Yesterday I showed you one of the fellows helping out with this film set-up, and today you have what I was looking at.  The building is Serbia's Academy of Science and Art that I'd shown you part of a year or so ago.

Equipment....

Stopped to watch a film crew set up on a side street off of Knez Mihailova street the other day.  Couldn't help but admire this fellow's equipment...., which may remind you of these guys' equipment from a few years back.

ABC WEDNESDAY "F" is for 'fur'

This snow is a couple of weeks old, and recently the temperatures have been springlike.

You still see fur coats here, the real stuff.

How about where you live?

Jaywalking

It was Sunday a.m. when I took this photo, and not many cars were on the street, but this woman, whom I've shown you before chose to jaywalk across the street.

She seems to be wearing footwear that are more like slippers, and fortunately that day she didn't have to  hurry.  When I uploaded the photo, I noticed the sneakers on the bus behind her...

Steadily she walks
Determined, independent

You saw it here first

As far as I know, Belgrade doesn't yet have a Bridge of Lovers' Locks.  There's one in Vrnjacka Banja that's quite impressive.  The other day I came upon this lock, Buby and Beby's, whoever they may be, hanging on the bars of a door of Kalemegdan Park's Roman well.

Let's see how many locks are to follow....

Is there a lock-covered Lovers' Bridge  in your city?

P.S. Just remembered this earlier post of mine about locks.

SUNDAY BRIDGES--two for one

Two for one today, to make up for the times I couldn't get a good bridge shot!

Don't know where this smoke was coming from, but I like the way it hovered over both bridges.

SKYWATCH--pastels announce spring?

The groundhog saw his shadow, and so we are to have six more weeks of winter...or maybe that's just valid for the US.

Anyway, these pastels remind me of spring, so...

STROLLING BY THE CHURCH

I sneaked several shots of this young woman who was non-chalantly strolling by St. Marko's church downtown.
