Weekend reflection--Vintage

Taken through the window of a vintage shop in Pioneer Square: red hat, red ring, red hair...and a couple of other reds, including the jacket of one of the men in the reflection.

See other reflections at James' WEEKEND REFLECTION.

SKYWATCH -"The fly"

Seated on a stool and sipping coffee at the Pike Place Market in Seattle, I shared a view of a dreary sky over Puget Sound with this fly.

See other skies at SKYWATCH FRIDAY.

Buy this house---cheap!!

Who wants to buy this well-maintained, manufactured home in Gig Harbor, Washington? I am desperate to sell my mother's house!

I have listed it with the retirement community's sales office and on Craigslist, so click on that link it you are interested. If you'd like to read more about this retirement community, please click here!

This is a manufactured home, and can be moved, if you happen to have a lot in the area. Or anywhere, but in the area is easier!

I have listed the price, but I will sell it to anyone who makes me a reasonable offer. If you have questions, you can always write to me at the email link under View My Complete Profile--About Me.

ABC WEDNESDAY...."N" is for "near"

Near is where I was to these two Seattle policemen. Looks like they're well-equipped, though the fellow on the right needs a new pair of trousers.

See other N's on ABC WEDNESDAY.

Chuck's beads

Many of you know, at least in cyberspace, Chuck Pefley of One a day-mostly Seattle. Chuck isn't posting there anymore, but has devoted all his energy into a new endeavor, creating glass bead jewelry, which you can see and buy here. As you can see, Chuck has a stand at the Pike Place Market.

Sunday brunch

Went out to brunch yesterday at Chandler's Crabhouse that offers a great view. When I wasn't looking out the window, I was sipping my drink, and deciding what to order. It was all good.... Notice the little clam on my Bloody Mary.

SUNDAY BRIDGES--watch the birdie(s)!

Okay, it's part of a pier and not really a bridge today, but there are bridges nearby ...

These gulls at Ivar's restaurant on the Seattle waterfront can be rather aggressive, despite what the sign says (ha), so watch your fingers.

See other bridges at Louis La Vache's SUNDAY BRIDGES.

Reflection Weekend--the pink boa

No snake, it's the doughnut, all pink with coconut, making it resemble a feather boa. When you visit Seattle, make sure to gobble a few more calories at Top Pot doughnuts. The downtown one has a really pretty ceiling, the lights of which are reflected here on the table.

See more reflections, but probably no more pink boas, at James'WEEKEND REFLECTION.

SKYWATCH--classic view

Not very original, but typical!

See other skies, undoubtedly more original than mine this week, at SKYWATCH.

MEOW!

Nothing subtle about this kitty. This trip I am surprised to see so many large and elaborate Halloween front-lawn decorations. I only bought a pumpkin to carve. Better get with it.

ABC WEDNESDAY: "M" is for "The Mutt and the Mouser"

Another guest photographer today. This time it is my daughter's friend, Muna, (another "M") who is contributing her pets' photo. Here you see Evander and his feline friend, GG.

For sure Evander is not a mutt, and I am not sure GG is a good mouser, but the M's fit today.

See other M's on ABC WEDNESDAY.
