Bleeding hearts

I loved these flowers that used to grow in my grandmother's garden. These were photographed at a nursery I visited with my daughter, who's doing some landscaping.

What's your favorite flower? And for those of you who speak another language, what do you call them?

I have too many favorite flowers but Lily of the Valley & Peonies are two of my most favorite - oh & hydrangeas of course!

Favorite flowers: "visibabe"=snow drop (a much nicer name in English)...but I have not seen them in sooooo many years

  My grandmother used to make these around Thanksgiving and now so have I.  Great as a tart side, in salads, or in a leftover turkey sandwic...
