While waiting for my friend the other night, I snapped this photo of some clouds, which remind me very much of these clouds that I photographed in my friend's home town of New York City two years ago.

SKYWATCH FRIDAY--Sweet sky

Isn't this a great shot? No, not bragging, for this photo was not taken by yours truly. It's the work of my friend Nena's niece, Ema, who has just bought a Nikon D3100.

Judging by some of her other work I've seen, I think Ema has a good eye and lots of imagination.

REFLECTIONS WEEKEND-the sky off the pier

With my 'kids' and their spouses, I took a little trip north of Belgrade (2 1/2 hours' drive) to Palic," a popular resort about 18 kilometers from the Hungarian border.

I liked the reflections on the water off this pier.

SKYWATCH--the heating plant towers

In New Belgrade there is a heating plant with two tall and two medium-sized red and white towers. Here they are under a dramatic sky. Sorry to say our rain continues, but it does yield some great skies and clouds.
