A long spring

It's darn cold.  I left Belgrade, where it was just getting nice and warm, and now I'm practically back in woolies again.

Green and wet

Jet-lagged, but in the Emerald City and it's raining.  This photo shows green and raindrops!  

Off again visiting,,,,

Barely touched down on Serbian soil after India and am now off to visit my daughter and family in Seattle for about two months.

Leaving little Mila  in Belgrade for a while to cuddle with her cousin Luka in Seattle.

Peanut, peanut....

I envied this fellow. I'm not good at sneaking up on or luring squirrels, but he was. They seem to think my camera is some sort of firearm and run away I sneaked the bottom shot with my long lens.

I'll be posting from Seattle on Friday for about two months. Visiting daughter and family!

It's been warm the past few days, but this lady isn't quite ready to give up cold weather...except for the bright pink color of her coat.

SUNDAY BRIDGES: Bridge Bumps

It's become common now to say that a pregnant woman has a baby bump, and for some reason, I don't like that expression.  This bridge, leading into the fortress on Kalemegdan Park, has a bridge bump, due to, I imagine, excessive water absorption.  Not surprising with all the rain we've had....
