Where'd the hot weather go?

This past weekend was downright chilly! Yesterday the weather widget on my blog read 10 degrees Celsius, a 20-degree or so drop from this summer's high temperatures. I bundled up and headed for the flea market near me where I had to do some shopping (main flea market here is usually all new stuff), and covered my camera with a plastic bag....

That looks like a scene from the middle of winter! Its been cold here too, though the rain has finally stopped! The sun has started to return but you can tell Autumn is in the air.

Congrats on reaching a half year :)

I love misty scenes like this - especially when I'm on the inside looking out.

Oh dear Bibi, what a photo!!!
Absolutely fantastic !

We also had a terrible downturn in weather here this weekend. We went from hot air from the Sahara to cold air from Siberia in a few hours! The mistral is blowing hard and the heavy clothes are out!

(clear blue skies though)

I was quite relieved at the sudden cold and rainy spell at first - a nice change from very, very hot weather.

Then I went outside, and wasn't so pleased!

Your mushrooms are incredible and should be multiplying with today's weather!

Br-r-r Looks like summer is over - at least for today, but it's a great picture - looks like an impressionist's painting.
