Silky....

Yesterday we had colorful bamboo, today colorful scarves, silk at that, that I saw (but didn't buy!) at Seattle's Pike Place Market.

ABC Wednesday "V" is for "vertically varigated"

It's hard to believe these are bamboo stalks. I have no idea why they're pink.  These stood in the midst of other green bamboo stalks in a neighbor's yard here in Seattle. I should look this up...have these stalks fallen victim to some kind of blight? Off to Google!

Plucked too short

Had lunch at my in-laws' in Bellevue the other day.  One of their granddaughters loves to pick flowers from their garden, but she needs practice in getting the stems...  These were so pretty that I had to immortalize their short life.

I see a lot of guys wearing kilts here in Seattle.  They don't see me taking their photo, though.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--I just turned around....

I needed a photo for James' WEEKEND REFLECTION and didn't know where to find one until I finished the dishes, turned around, and there it was on the counter. 

SKYWATCH--Gas Works Park, Seattle

Gas Works Park  is  one of the best places in Seattle to get a view of some of the city's skyline. Of course, you can get a view of the old gas works, too...and the sun behind.

Snazzy

Definitely head-turning, snazzy duds, and it's great to see older some older people have a sense of fashion! Live it up.

ABC WEDNESDAY--"U" is for "unique"

WEll, maybe not  unique   since there may be more Pink Pentaxes, but I was immediately drawn to this very feminine camera---it belongs to this fellow's girlfriend, who was shy to pose.
